It is with regret that i have to announce the death of Barney Garrod. Who for several years played in the Diss league with the then Withersdale team made up of Adrian Key, Steve Grifee and others incuding Barney.

Barney stopped playing some years ago when he developed prostate cancer, but I am sure he will be remembered by many current league members

The leagues condolences go out to Barneys wife and family.

His funeral is on 11th April at 2pm in Beccles.
