Match Report

To quote Richard from last week’s bulletin “PRO are still within touching distance” but “recently PRO have never taken more than two sets in that encounter “and so it proved last night, if fact even worse as it was a resounding 10-0.

John missed the game due to team rotation leaving Ronnie, George and Jai – the last of whom had a plane to catch to Tunisia at 02:00!

Castaways were in a determined mood and despite the occasional leg, four in fact, two each for Jai and Ronnie, PRO never looked likely to take a game to a fifth end and therefore, the match was over quickly though the refreshments, particularly the rolls and Nando Hot sauce were much appreciated as were the mince pies!

Onwards and upwards for Castaways who have a potential banana skin playing Comets next week whilst PRO will be licking their wounds as they are on a bye week although they do have an outstanding game to rearrange against Morpeth A to arrange which won’t be an easy one to help their cause.
