On Thursday 11th April a competition for Juniors who had not yet played in the Medway League took place with 16 entered. Their ages ranged between 10 and 14 years old.
So that as many games could take place in the evening, they were placed in groups of 4 with the top two in each playing a knockout main event and the bottom two playing a consolation one.
The winner of the competition was the favourite Ronit Banerjee hoping to play for Chatham next season, with George Gee coming second. Third place was contested between two very talented 11-year-olds Enzo Bunker and Dillon Duda with Enzo prevailing on this occasion.
In the Consolation event Ollie Weaver won beating his friend Noah Jones with 10-year-old Jack Gregory beating his older brother George for third place.
It was a great evening with lots of exciting rallies and each boy showed how much they have developed in the last few months.
