The North Open was held on Sunday 17 September at Aberdeen Sports Village and attracted a healthy entry in all 13 events. The Men's Singles title went to top seed and defending champion, Craig Howieson, who defeated Sean Doherty in straight sets. The Men's Doubles title went to Yaser Razouk and Sepehr Bidari who recorded an emphatic win over John Hannah and Robert Toth while John also lost out in the final of the Band 1, this time at the hands of Zaid Khalid. The rest of the day's events went the way of either Aberdeen or Drumchapel with Dylan Curry and Tessa Yau capturing the Junior titles, Rafal Wilowski and Wiktoria Smolarek the Cadets, Louis Loi and Amelia Smolarek the Minors and Daniel Tibbetts successful in the Under 11's.
