Tournaments and Leagues

The local Association (ADTTA) organise tournaments during the winter season and run the local leagues.

There is one Grand Prix event on the national circuit – the North of Scotland Open – which attracts some of the top Scottish players.

The North of Scotland Confined tournament is open to all local players, as is the Christmas Tournament run by Aberdeen University.

ADTTA organise the main local league and cup competitions which run from September to April. Individual clubs such as Triangle and Westhill, also run their own annual tournaments. For juniors, qualifying competitions for the Scottish Primary and Secondary Schools Championships may be held in Aberdeen . Schools leagues based at ASV are run two or three times a year to give more competition to developing players.
