A late Division 1 result saw Tigers demolish Figheldean 30 – 6. Jerry Holt, Malcolm Cummins and Andy Snellgrove all won three for Tigers. Surprisingly Malcolm was taken to four games by both Brian Cook (Figheldean) and Phil Cook, but kept his 100% record. The first semi-final in the Weighill Trophy produced an excellent 6 – 3 win for Hanson Pumas over Hanson Cougars. Richard Fettes (Pumas) won three with Ray Carver getting two and Shaun Carver one. Andy Barnes won two and Nick George one for Cougars. The game scores were close but only one of the sets went to three games when Nick had a belated win over Shaun. The pick of the match lined up Richard against Andy with both of them playing off the same handicap. Richard succeeded in winning a very hard fought close couple of games 21-19, 21-91.
In the other semi-final Enham were well beaten 0 - 9 by Figheldean who were giving away 11-13 points per game.
