Major VETTS Tournament in Canterbury

If you’re not a Table Tennis Veteran don’t ignore this – I’m sure you have a team mate who is!

The attachment gives details of the first major table tennis event to be held in Kent for many years.  If  successful the Joan Beadle tournament will be held annually and we will also look to introduce an Open Ratings and Full Open Tournament in Canterbury for next season.

The event will attract players from all over the country but we are hoping for strong support from the South East. It will  be played on 18 tables at the Canterbury Christchurch sports centre with first class lighting and flooring and plenty of local parking.

All standards are welcome.  Saturday will be a ratings event with players rated according to ability so you will get competitive games as close to your standard as possible with a guaranteed 6 – 7 games. The Sunday will be more of a fun day with a hard bat event and a drawn doubles so anything could happen...but plenty of games and a great social atmosphere.

Please support the event and help us to grow table tennis in the region.Joan Beadle Entry Form final.pdf
