The January League Meeting was held at the TT centre on Monday 5th January. All clubs were represented including the newly formed Furness College.

Matters arising included how the league representative teams should be organised next season with a suggestion that each team should have its own Captain. 

The meeting wanted to know if Handbooks would be produced this season. The Secretary also said that a new revised Rule book was needed. 

2 players currently registered with Furness CC had asked to transfer to Furness College - Emma McDonald and Eleanor Sedgwick - this was approved. The transfer fees would be added to next seasons fees. Tim Pachul and Andrew Dorrian were registered for FCC "A" and Vickerstown Saints "B" respectively. 

AOB - Neil Honeyman (FCC) put to the meeting that with the loss of teams including one from Div 1 just before the season started the Rule approved at the AGM that 2 teams would be relegated and 2 promoted would be detrimental to the league. This view was supported by several other members after much discussion, including questions about when was the best time to hold the AGM. As a result of the discussion it was proposed that a SGM should be held preceding the next February Council meeting on Monday 2nd February at 7.30pm at the TT Centre.
