Free Coaching Course
At the last development meeting there was a discussion regarding Level 1 Coaching and with the increased level of junior and beginner participation it was felt it was desirable to increase the number of qualified coaches in the area to assist with this development.
Table Tennis England have agreed in principle to run a course in Barrow over 3 dates at a discounted cost of £150 per person based on a minimum number of 10.
The league have received a very generous offer from a local sponsor to fund £500 of this cost and it was agreed at the latest development meeting (10th April 2018) to cover the balance with part of the legacy the league have recently received.
As there are currently 10 clubs within the league it was also agreed that one free place would be offered to each of the clubs within the league so that one of their members can benefit from this offer.If some clubs do not have any members who wish to take the course that place will be offered to other clubs members.
If there are insufficient numbers to fill the course it will be postponed to a later date
The proposed dates for the course are 19th May,9th June and the 30th June.
As the first date is only 6 weeks away can all interested members please confirm their interest to barrowtabletennis@gmail.com (by the 30th April) so we can make the necessary arrangements
