Bath and District Table Tennis Association Primary School Competition report

56 young players took part in the Bath and District Table Tennis Association Primary School Competition.  There were enough entries for four separate competitions for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils.  Each player played in pool matches with the winners going through to knockout matches.  The four finals were won by different schools.  Year 3 was an all St John’s Catholic Primary final with Gus overcoming Hugo. In Year 4, Camron from Oldfield Park Juniors beat Zac from St Saviour’s Juniors.  In Year 5, Noah from King Edward’s Junior School beat Joshua from Newbridge Primary and both Year 6 finalists were from St Saviour’s Juniors with Adam beating Luke.

Organiser Mike Clare thanked all players for taking part and King Edward’s Junior School for hosting.  Bath and District Table Tennis Association provided umpires. Thanks to Richard Gaisford, Martin Moore, Ken Milson, Peter Clare, Peter Galea and Mike Newton.
