Beaufort Sports A reached the giddy heights of third place in the Premier Division, after their 10-0 mauling of strugglers Streetly A.  Jack Williamson, Jon Ludlow and Phil Burwell proved unstoppable in their first match of 2012.  Leaders Colebridge Aces stay right on course for the title with a surprisingly easy 10-0 demolition of clubmates Colebridge Braves.  Michael Browne and Alan Caffery were both maximum men for Smiths Wood A in an 8-2 away success at Beaufort Sports B.  Former Birmingham and Warwickshire champion Browne is enjoying a fabulous unbeaten campaign.
Sutton Coldfield A gave themselves hope of avoiding the drop out of the top flight with an emphatic 8-2 win at Smiths Wood B.  Martin Round was unbeaten for Sutton, as the Birmingham veteran showed top form.
 
Hamstead C enhanced their promotion prospects in Division One beating nearest rivals Smithereens A 8-2. with both individual leader Baz Barrett and Hemal Raval gaining hat-tricks.  Andy Calloway and Purdip Shoker both notched trebles for Sutton Coldfield B who hammered Beaufort Sports C 9-1.  Streetly B edged Maypole A 6-4 in a tense encounter.  Bournville A won 6-4 at Colebridge Chiefs thanks to a Parijat De maximum which included an 11-8 in the fifth victory over the highly rated Pete Roddy.
 
Division Two is being hotly contested at both team and individual level.  Smithereens B are the current leaders with Dave Whittingslow of Smiths the top individual.  Sutton Coldfield C come next while Colebridge Eagles have soared into contention, along with Colebridge Dinosaurs and Streetly C. Whittingslow is hotly pursued by attacking ace Dan Ranford (Quinborne), then Mike Evetts (Colebridge Eagles) who is currently in the best form of his career, Steve Taylor (Colebridge Dinosaurs) the immaculate defender, while Richard Parks (Streetly C) and Bernard Oliver (Colebridge Eagles) are also within touching distance.  Evetts and Oliver were both unbeaten for Eagles as they toppled Colebridge Giants 9-1.  Taylor won three singles for Dinosaurs in a hard fought 5-5 draw at Quinborne A.  Whittingslow was joined by Paul Adams for maximums for Smithereens B as they thumped lowly Smiths Wood D 9-1.  Calloway emulated his feat in Division One with another maximum for Sutton Coldfield C along with Mike Cooper and Clive Stretton in a 10-0 scoreline over Sutton Coldfield D.
