Lodgers A kept their title hopes alive with a crushing 10-0 defeat of struggling Stickney. The Lodgers trio of Graham Lacey, Kelvin Clements and Gary Hill were in sparkling form and were too strong for Vince Lozynsky and Jane Ellis, who brushed aside in straight ends. Adam Ellis though put up sterner resistance, losing out in five ends to both Graham and Kelvin and taking one end from Gary Hill. In the doubles Adam and Jane took the first end from Kelvin and Graham but it proved to be a false dawn with the Lodgers duo powering through the next three.
