Sibsey suffered a comprehensive 1-9 defeat against their near neighbours from Stickney. It was left to "Spinmaster" Neil Snaith to rescue Sibsey from a whitewash by beating the impressive Jane Ellis in three. Both Vince Lozynsky and Adam Ellis comfortably won their three singles, Vince having a creditable win over Neil that did take some time to complete! The doubles was probably the closest game of the night with the Sibsey pairing of Neil and "Smiler" Smith losing in four close ends to Adam and Jane Ellis.
