An entertaining 5-5 draw played out when Mayflower Sportsman 1 took on Lodgers D. In an evenly matched contest it was No. 2 ranked Steve Hill who was the man of the match, taking all three of his singles in straight ends. Lodger's only other point in the singles came via Tony Kime who defeated Alex Pexton in straight sets. Darron Kent and Lucas East both banked two points each with victories over Richard Scott and Tony Kime and with Alex Pexton winning a close five ender against the unlucky Richard Scott, gave them the five points they needed for at least a draw. With Lodgers D needing a win in the doubles for the draw, it didn't start well with Steve and Tony going 2-1 down to Alex and Lucas. However, the Lodgers duo dug deep to take the next two ends 7-11, 6-11 to earn their team a deserved 5-5 draw.
