CLOSE BATTLE AT THE PARK!

  It was a close, entertaining battle when Lodgers Blades travelled to Kirton to take on Graves Park A, with the Park just edging it 6-4 on the night. James "Quinno" Quinton led by example, taking his three singles with minimal fuss although Lucas and Darron did manage to take an end each. Alan Reetham chipped in with two wins, losing his first singles against Darron Kent in four before enjoying victories over the dangerous Simon Raistrick and Lucas East. It was tough going for the Park's Graham Walters though, losing two five set matches. First he lost to an excellent performance from Lucas East and then losing by the same margin to Simon Raistrick. He did, however, come from 1-2 down against Darron Kent to take the fifth end 11-5.
