NO LATE NIGHT AT LODGERS!

  Defending champions Lodgers J were in no mood for charity when they welcomed stablemates Lodgers B. In fact, all the matches apart from one was over in straight sets. Brett Heppenstall and player of the match Alan Ashberry were in dominant form and raced through their singles, as did Chris Christoforou but Colin Bell did manage to take the second end to give Chris some food for thought! It was a tough night for Richard Baxter and Gary Jaques but they will have their opportunity to shine in other matches throughout the season.
