LODGERS C WINNING RUN ENDED!

  Lodgers C winning run came to a close with a resounding defeat away to defending champions Lodgers J. Brett Heppenstall was the player of the match playing some outstanding table-tennis especially against Steve Allen, who pushed him all the way over three close ends. Alan "The Wall" Ashberry and Chris Christoforou both added two victories against Scott Sykes and Andy Pocklington but Steve Allen was too strong and finally managed to beat his nemesis "The Wall" Ashberry! In an entertaining doubles Sykes/Allen took on the strong Heppenstall/Ashberry partnership but it was the Lodgers J duo who came out on top, winning in four ends and taking home the spoils with an 8-2 victory on the night.
