LODGERS J TOO STRONG FOR STICKNEY!

  Already at this stage of the season, Lodgers J are looking like league winners with a 10-0 victory over, albeit a weakened, Stickney side. Brett Heppenstall was the customary player of the match, winning all of his singles in straight ends. Alan Ashberry was made to work extremely hard for his three points by Gavin Herberts, who took him all the way to a fifth end, just missing out 11-8. Chris Christoforou also was given a brief scare by Andy Birks taking the second end 10-12, but other than that it was business as usual for the defending champions.
