LODGERS C BATTLE TO GOOD WIN AT STICKNEY!

  Lodgers C put in a strong display away to Stickney to pull a bit further away from their opponents in the table. Steve Allen led the way with, winning all of his singles in straight ends with minimum fuss. Scott "The Windmill" Sykes backed him up, also winning his three singles, but was made to work that bit harder against Paul "Paddy" Hartnett and Andy "The Cat" Birks, who both took an end from him. It was a frustrating night for Andy Pocklington though, with Vince bamboozling him with his "Cloud & Fog" pips in his first game, before losing to old team mate Andy Birks in five and Paddy Hartnett in five.
