2 MAN WRANGLE NO MATCH FOR LODGERS J

  With Wrangle only able to field two players, it was always going to be a tough night when they took on defending champions Lodgers J. And so it proved with Lodgers taking all the points in a 10-0 victory, although both Sam Cooper and Dave Coulson could consider themselves unlucky not to take home something. Sam Cooper kept Chris Christoforou on the back foot with a battling performance before running out of steam, with Chris taking the fifth end 11-7. However, the really unlucky player of the night was Dave Coulson, who arguably put in his best performance of the season, going the distance with Chris Christoforou and highly ranked Alan Ashberry, and in his match against Alan, just losing 13-11 in the fifth! With the doubles over in straight ends though, it was Lodgers who took home all the spoils.
