  Two man Stickney were always going to struggle when they could only muster two players to take on defending champions Lodgers J, and so it proved with only one match going more than 3 ends. That match was Vince Lozynsky versus No. 5 ranked Chris Christoforou and Vince could consider himself quite unlucky to not take a very good scalp, taking him all the way to a deciding fifth end before falling short 7-11. Brett and Alan Ashberry breezed through their games in straight sets and it wasn't until Paul Hartnett took on Chris Christoforou that a point was gained, with Paul coming through in straight sets.
