  With Graves Park A only able to field two players, an early night was always on the cards, especially when you are taking on Lodgers J! It so it proved to be with the Lodgers trio of Alan Ashberry, Brett Heppenstall and Brian Hill racing through all their match-ups in straight sets. Alan Ashberry was the pick of the players and was the player of the match. There was a few close moments for the Park with James "Quinno" Quinton almost taking the first end from No. 1 ranked Brett Heppenstall, just losing 14-16 and Quinno and Reetham just losing 10-12 in the second end against Heppenstall/Ashberry but other than that it was a routine victory for the defending champions.
