STICKNEY CLOSE GAP ON LODGERS C!

  Stickney moved closer to 3rd placed Lodgers C with a 4-6 victory away to Wrangle. Gav Herberts was the player of the match, racing through his singles in straight sets backed up by Adam Ellis, who also won his singles although he dropped ends to Dave Coulson and Pete Evans. Vince Lozynsky had a tiring evening with all three of his singles going the full distance - first to Dave Coulson with Vince taking the decisive fifth end 4-11. In his second match he was 1-2 up against Pete Evans before Pete took the final two ends 11-6, 11-1. However, arguably the match of the night was his match against Sam Cooper with three of the ends going to deuce with the fifth going to Sam 12-10. With the score at 3-6 to Stickney, Cooper/Evans teamed up against Herberts/Lozynsky but it was the regular Wrangle pairing that won in straight sets.
