ALL SMILES FOR "SMILER"!

“Smiler” Smith continued his excellent seasons form winning his three singles, “Smiler” only dropping an end against both Peter Bell and Alex Allbones.

Roger Hooton and Mick “Five End” Ellis backed “Smiler” with two games apiece, Roger losing to Peter Bell in four very closely fought ends, Pete having the advantage of two nets to clinch the second and third ends.  “Five End” Ellis lost his one game to the impressive Alex Allbones who played extremely well for perhaps a surprise win against “Five End” in five tightly contested ends.

All the Sibsey team beat Andrew Wheatcroft who battled hard all evening for no reward.
