LODGERS D DOWNED BY TETFORD!

  Tetford came away with an excellent 4-6 victory away to Lodgers D which closes the gap between the two to just 2 points in favour of Lodgers. Andy Foster was the player of the match, winning all of his singles and dropping just one end to Steve Hill. Brian Todd added two points with victories over Ian Gorrie and Tony Kime but came up short against a resilient Steve Hill. With all the Lodgers players beating the unlucky Mary Silverton this left the score at 4-5 going into the doubles at the end of the evening. This was a titanic battle between Hill/Gorrie versus Foster/Todd with Foster/Todd coming from 2-1 down to take the next two ends 7-11, 7-11 to take home the spoils.
