MICK DODES HITS TOP FORM!

  Mick Dodes put in a player of the match performance when Graves Park D visited Lodgers D, Mick winning all three of his singles, dropping the first end to David Kime. Before battle commenced there was only 1 point separating 3rd placed Graves Park D from 4th placed Lodgers D, but it turned out to be an off night for the Lodgers team with the Park taking home the spoils in a 0-10 victory! The Park's Paul Matschull and Phil Brooks matched their Captain's performance, both winning their singles with both losing the first end of their matches against the unlucky David Kime. Steve Hill and Ian Gorrie battled hard, losing some close ends, but ultimately had nothing to show for their labours. The doubles was the match of the night with Kime/Hill taking on Dodes/Brooks with both teams sharing the first four ends, it came down to the decider but Dodes/Brooks kept their composure to take it 7-11 to complete the whitewash.
