Match Report

GRAVES PARK D TOO STRONG FOR NOMADS!

It was business as usual for second placed Graves Park D as they took on stablemates Graves Park Nomads. Paul Matschull was the player of the match, racing through his singles in straight ends and in no mood for charity judging by his scores! Phil Brooks and Mick Dodes proved to be able wing-men with both players also winning all of their singles, although wily old Alan Davy gave them both a fright by taking the first end of each of them. It was a tough night for the Nomads duo of John Shortland and Eriks Pitkovics though, who both struggled to get a foothold in their respective matches. In the doubles, Davy/Pitkovic took on Dodes/Brooks but despite losing a close first end and taking the third, it was all over in four ends and with it a 0-10 victory to Graves Park D.
