SIBSEY PUT DOWN MARKER!

  Sibsey put down a marker for the title with an 2-8 victory away to nearest rivals Graves Park D. Dave "Smiler" Smith was the only player to come through unscathed in the singles but was pushed all the way to five ends by both Mick Dodes and Phil Brooks. Mick Ellis and Neil Snaith added two a piece with victories over Mick Dodes and Dave Walters but couldn't get the better of Phil Brooks.
