TWO MAN PARK E DOWNED BY SIBSEY!

  With only two players it was always going to be a tough night when taking on table-toppers Sibsey, and so it proved with Sibsey running away with a 0-10 victory, with all but one match over in straight sets. Roger Hooton put in a player of the match performance giving very little away, although Fred Calvert managed to take him to deuce once. Neil Snaith backed him up as did Mick "Five End" Ellis although he did have his customary five-setter against Neil Calvert.
