  Pete Bell saved a whitewash with a straight sets victory over Ian Gorrie when Lodgers D took on Graves Park E, with Lodgers overpowering the Park to a 9-1 victory. David Kime was the calculated player of the match winning all of his singles in straight sets. Steve Hill played the wingman to perfection, beating Alex Allbones and Andrew Wheatcroft in straight sets before coming from 1-2 down against Pete Bell to take the next two ends 11-3, 11-8 to complete his hattrick. Ian Gorrie added two with straight set wins over Alex and Andrew before Hill/Kime added the cherry with victory over Bell/Allbones in the doubles.
