David Kime and Steve Hill took no prisoners when Lodgers D took on Graves Park Nomads, with both players completing their hattricks in straight sets with aplomb with all the Nomads players struggling to get a foothold. It was a tougher night though for Ian Gorrie, who despite battling hard, got no reward for his efforts. In his first match against Eriks Pitkovics, Ian took the first end 12-10 but Eriks took the next three 10-12, 9-11, 5-11. In his second match against Alan Davy, he too lost in four ends but at least he can claim to have had the longest game of the night, losing the third end 18-20! In his final match-up against Russ Freeman, Russ was too strong and came through in straight sets to give each of the Nomads a point apiece. In the doubles, Kime/Hill were too strong for Pitkovics/Davy, with the Lodgers duo coming through in straight sets to complete a 7-3 victory on the night.
