Brandon A v Silksworth B

Our Sunderland league A team players travelled to Silksworth for their latest match.  Although below us in the league, Silksworth certainly played at a really good standard and proved very tough opponents.  Jamie, playing only for the second time in the A team managed to get his first win and pushed their best two players to very close games.  John L equally picked up 1 win but couldn't match their best players.  Simon, once again came to our rescue by winning his 3 singles, at 4-5 down in the match, Simon played their number one, Sean, in the very last match of the night.  It was a brilliant match, Simon showing considerable determination to get over the line and make the match result 5-5.  Simon's contribution was great but still well within his very high standards, my MOTM is Jamie who is getting better and better and who's performance was way above what we might have expected.
