As a result of tremendous support from our two County Councillors, John Turnbull and Paul Taylor, a grant was agreed from them of a total of £887.  This allows us to obtain a fogging sanitiser machine to add to our COVID-19 security arrangements and some table cleaning sprays. It also provides funding to enable our volunteers to obtain their DBS certification through Table Tennis England.  We would also like to thank Derek Snaith and Helen Pinkney of the Mid Durham Area Action Partnership who advised us and processed the grant application.
