We are having some issues with the players averages getting out of alignment due to definitions of walkover, concede and forfeit and how people apply them differently depending on the system..
We suspect there is a lack of clarity when players enter scores and we need a consistent view to get the averages to line up. We now have concede counting against the player but forfeit and walkover do not.
To fix earlier scores requires un-approving, applying the correct definition and resubmitting. We have previously corrected other scores which may need to be revisited depending on the definitions we now apply.
TT365 has the following definitions
When a player wins a match because their opponent conceded during their match, setting yes will include the win in the players averages. This is set to yes for Bristol.
When a player wins a match because their opponent did not turn up and you have used a forfeit on a match card, setting yes will include the win in the players averages. This is set to no for Bristol.
When a players wins a match because their opponent retired, before starting their match, setting yes will include the win in the players averages. This is set to no for Bristol.
The commitee has agreed with this approach. If anyone is aware of averages not in alignment with these definitions please let us know.
