Tanworth Pasties v Droitwich Sharks

Tim Giles will rightly win Player of the match , following his unbeaten display.

If this observer were to be the judge , then the award would go to Jason Rainey , as a result of his best performance in Bromsgrove League One to date.

He beat both Michael Klein and Eliot Brandwood with a controlled display of aggression. He had the beating of Tim Giles too , but the latters subtle artifices proved too much in the fifth end.

When he provides the footwork to allow himself the room to play his forehand , the resulting smash , with his full weight behind it , is unplayable at this level.

Mike Credland also went home with a brace , with his usual disciplined, flinty display , and zero foul serves against his name.

if Mike Evetts is to compete at this level , he needs to change his game.

Final score 6-4 to The Sharks. Well played to them.
