Clubs, workplaces, schools, shopping centres, sports clubs and community groups are all involved – and the list of locations even includes museums, hospitals and retirement villages.

Events are being held from sea level all the way up to England’s highest point – Scafell Pike in the Lake District.

Tournaments, taster sessions, open days, teachers versus students, trick-shot challenges . . . you name it, every kind of table tennis-related activity is on the menu – and there are even World Cup-themed tournaments inspired by England’s fantastic performance in Russia.

As well as clubs opening their doors to potential new recruits, Table Tennis England’s mass participation programmes are also well represented, with a number of Ping Pong Parlours, Ping! locations and Loop organisations all involved.

The main Table Tennis England event is in Milton Keynes, where Commonwealth Games medallist Maria Tsaptsinos and Paralympic star Aaron McKibbin will be challenging shoppers and showcasing their skills.

There is still time to register your own event – click here to do so. Anyone who registers an event goes into a draw to win a visit from member of the England table tennis squad!

There are loads of other chances to win prizes too. Can you master our Serve Yourself challenge, come up with the most interesting location for a match or devise the best improvised bat? Click here for more details of our challenges – you could win signed England shirts and other prizes!

You will be able to follow the day on social media – don’t forget to use the hashtag #TableTennisDay and let’s see if, as last year, we can get the day trending on Twitter.

Finally, please send us a photo of your activity – preferably on the day or the following day so we can incorporate it into our website coverage. Email marketing@tabletennisengland.co.uk
