Obituary Ken Marshall

We are sad to report that Ken Marshall passed away recently at the age of 73 after a long illness.

Ken spent many years playing table tennis in the Chalfont’s league, some of us will remember the good old days of the 80’s when he played for ‘Chapta' table tennis Club.

In more recent years Ken became an agent for Bribar Table Tennis and sold all things TT, and in so doing became quite an expert in all the blades and rubbers.  I’m sure a lot of our players are now using bats he had supplied.

Ken was a larger than life character who will be missed by all, especially those in our local table tennis community.

We pass on our sympathies to his wife Shirley and his sons Steve and Robert. Ken’s funeral takes place on Thursday 19th April at Amersham Crematorium, Milton Chapel 4pm, and afterwards at the Harte and Magpies, Magpie Lane, Coleshill HP7 0LU. Ken’s friends and table tennis chums are all welcome to attend and the league will be organising a fitting floral tribute.
