To All Chelmsford League Members

You may have seen the outdoor tables that were placed in and around Chelmsford during the summer months as part of Ping! Chelmsford. This included the very popular Ping Pong Parlour that was installed in the Meadows shopping centre which saw 4 tables in constant use from June through to the end of September.  Chelmsford is a Priority Zone for Table Tennis England and besides the Ping! Project we are looking to invest further to provide more opportunities for people to play Table Tennis. In partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation we have recently placed 10 new tables into Hylands Academy and also four new tables into Gt Baddow High School. We are now in a position to offer a Level Coaching course to League members who are interested in taking the first steps into coaching. The expectation is that newly qualified coaches will get involved in supporting Table Tennis activity in and around Chelmsford. It may be linking up with local schools, in clubs or community halls, anywhere really where there is a demand for Table Tennis.

It is hoped that the course will start early in the new year at the very latest.
