Newly promoted Saughall Port are continuing to surprise the division 1 sides and remain top of the table following an emphatic 9-1victory over an albeit weakened Whitby Sports team. Barry Hough was undefeated as his team Groves A were held to a draw by the fast improving Barrow B team.

Division 2 leaders , Barrow D, continue to set a fast pace and in their clash with lowly Electric Sports only Steve Jones could take a point off them with a fine win over Martin Dodd. Will Sleddon ensured that Barrow C remain  in contention leading them to a hard fought 6-4 victory at Groves B, and also in this section the two Officers squads shared the spoils with new signing Richard Moore hitting 3 terrific wins for the C team.

Surprise leaders of division 3 at this stage are Barrow E who have recently recorded emphatic 9-1 and 10-0 wins over the two bottom sides with Veronica Nicholas showing improved form and backing  up impressive recent signing Stephen Tibbett.

Danny Russell retuned to the Barrow Premier team squad and assisted his team in registering a maximum score against a sporting Select team who included John Chan from Pulford B.
