Groves B proved far too strong for the newly promoted Groves C squad in a division I fixture and Graham Boyd led them to the top of the table with a 9 1 victory. Elsewhere struggling Beechwood were no match for a County Officers team featuring new signing Harold Furber and lost by a similar scoreline. Steve Clift continued his fine run for Groves  A and they moved into second position with a hard fought 6 4 win at Officers A. 

Gareth Hughes returned to the Barrow B ranks for their tough division 2 away clash at Saughall Port and hit a fine maximum in a match that finished all square. Experienced Ken Hill made his debut for the home team and recorded 2 good wins. Lynsey Pellew-Nabbs is proving to be a real force for Groves D in this section and led her team to a hard fought 6 4 victory against the previously undefeated Officers C squad. John Rowland and Terry Haselden were also in top form as Barrovians returned from struggling Tarporley with a convincing 8 2 scoreline. 

The only division 3 result to hand saw a rejuvenated Officers F team completely outplay their own G squad with Stu Shipley and Clive Jones leading the way with maximums. 

In thePremier division Select had no answer to a full Barrow squad including Aaron Beech and Jonathan Taylor and captained by Rob Wylie, and Pulford A defeated their own B team with Joe Cutts making a seasons debut with 3 victories, and Ray Worthington hitting two wins.
