Division 2 have new leaders as Barrovians , despite injuries to their squad, recorded an emphatic 9 1 victory over a depleted Groves D team, Jens Andersen maintaining his unbeaten season to date, and John Rowland also hitting a fine maximum. Ian Barlow and Charlie Cooke led Officers C to a 9 1 success over their own D team, and in form Andy Moulton, backed up by unorthodox Jack Auckland ensured Electric Sports hit double wins over Barrow C on successive evenings to move significantly up the table.

Premier division action saw Newton defeat Newton A 8 2 despite fine wins for Joe Killoran over County players Ken Connor and Mark Pugh, and Andy Eagles and Simon Jones led injury hit Pulford to a welcome 7 3 away win at Groves. John Allera led bottom placed Barrow A to a vital 6 4 home victory over Pulford A.

Division 1 action saw unbeaten Newton B struggle to overcome improving Beechwood 6 4, John Bowen showing terrific form for the unlucky losers, and Graham Boyd leading Groves A to a welcome narrow 6 4 result over Saughall Deva. Elsewhere Colin Fergus hit a great maximum for Officers B but failed to save his team from a 4 6 reverse at Groves C.

The top of the table division 3 encounter saw Andrew Taylor lead Officers E to an impressive 7 3 scoreline over close rivals Barrow E.
