In a delayed Premier Cup quarter final a weakened Pulford side defeated County Officers A 5 4 thanks to top performances from Simon Jones and Andy Eagles. They now await the winners of Newton v Officers first team. Already into the final are favourites Barrow who fielded a team that included Aaron Beech and Malcolm McEvoy and proved far too strong for a fighting Groves squad.

Division 1 leaders , County Officers B, entertained Groves C in this divisions semi final and led by Mark Simpson they comfortably won the encounter without losing a game. They now face Groves A who emphatically defeated Saughall Deva, a fine singles win by Martin Sellars setting up the victory. 

County Officers C have a formidable squad and with Ilhan Ibashev in top form they overwhelmed their own E squad 7 1 to reach the final of the division 3 cup where they await the result of the clash between in form Barrow B and league leaders Groves D.

Charlotte Armor is a vastly improved player this season and she led Saughall Institute to an impressive division 3 semi final success over Officers G by a 5 3 scoreline. They now play the winners of Tarporley Electric A and Groves E.

In a Premier division fixture Rob Wylie led the powerful Barrow squad to a 10 0 victory over a Select side that nevertheless gave an impressive account of themselves.
