Rowhedge F jump into the lead in Division 2

Rowhedge F have recorded two strong victories to put themselves in a commanding position in Division 2. Their first was an excellent 9-1 win over Gt Horkesley E. The match of the night was in fact the first one and it saw Roger Warren complete a fine win over Chris Brook of Rowhedge. Chris made up for it in the game against St James D, being the only player unbeaten at the end of the night.

St James C are 2 points behind with a game in hand, closely followed by Gt Horkesley D. The Clacton-based team just beat Rowhedge G 6-4, with young Sam Hume unbeaten yet again and keeping up his 100% record in the division.

Then comes the mid-placed teams, and Dedham B leads that pack with a game to spare over teams around them. They recorded a good 9-1 win over St James D. George Berry was Player of the Match, after playing up a division from Dedham C. Tollesbury B haven't helped their cause for staying in the division, after 2 straight defeats against both Horkesley teams; 4-6 against the E team and 3-7 against the D team. Pegasus B have a few games in hand and could climb up the ladder if they do well in these games. Pegasus C had a heavy loss against St James C, going down 8-2.
