Hamstead B inflicted a stunning blow on the Premier Division title hopes of Colebridge Aces.  Hemal Raval and Ryan Fellows were both in inspired form for Hamstead in a 6-4 away success.  Ed Lynn, Sam Henderson and Ben Willson will have to pick themselves up quickly from this reverse if the title is to return to the Shirley club.  Steve Robinson and Lester Bertie both had maximums for Hamstead A in a comfortable 8-2 victory over Bournville A.  Colebridge Braves showed their first team the way winning 8-2 at Hamstead C as Amit Ubhi and Martin George both notched trebles.  Streetly A gained an important 7-3 home success over Sutton Coldfield A courtesy of a James Rudge hat-trick.  Beaufort Sports A and Smiths Wood B drew 5-5 with Rob Rowson of Sports the only unbeaten player with victories over Mark Hale, Helen Turner and Dave Smye.  Michael Browne led Smiths Wood A to a 6-4 triumph over Beaufort Sports B with a stunning treble which put the talented duo of Jody Bevington and Michael Bree in their place.

Bournville C beat Colebridge Eagles 7-3 with max men in Tony Sheldon and Tim Freeman in Division One.  Sutton Coldfield C edged Colebridge Dinosaurs 6-4 with Andy Calloway unbeaten.  Andy Choi of Sutton lost to both Dan Ranford and Jim Connor narrowly in the fifth while Calloway came through pulsating battles with the duo that also went the distance.  Purdip Shoker continued his superb run with yet another maximum for Sutton Coldfield B against Streetly B in a 5-5 draw.  Shoker added the impressive trio of Steve Taylor, Terry Cooper and Richard Parkes to his growing list of victims.  Rob Watts and Pat McCabe of Bournville B proved too good for Smithereens in a 6-4 away victory.

Tim Fell of Colebridge Falcons is showing his best form for a decade in Division Two and was again on song in the 7-3 success over Walmley A.  He beat the trio of Chris Hall, Alan White and Derek Ellis in style.  Mark Georgevic produced a quality treble for Jacombs A at Sutton Coldfield E with excellent support from Dave Linz and Barry Sterling in a 7-3 victory. Colin Cleverley’s treble for Sutton Coldfield D at Smiths Wood C proved to no avail as the home side won 6-4.  Colebridge Giants beat fellow clubmates Colebridge Hawks 6-4.  Ivy Leaf A brushed away Bournville D 6-4 thanks to a max from Darren Williams.

Alan Thompson, Ron Fraser and Andrew Coupe were unstoppable in a 10-0 mauling of Smiths Wood D in Division Three.  Pete Haslam notched a hat-trick for Bournville F in a regulation 8-2 victory over Walmley C for whom the evergreen Tim Stevens picked up two.  Nick Matthews was the man in form for Walmley B as they thumped Quinborne 8-2.  Bournville E won 7-3 at Colebridge Knaves despite an excellent unbeaten display from Omar Zaman.  Sutton Coldfield F beat Streetly D by a 7-3 margin.

Bournville G had a maximum from Awais Mohammed to thank for a 7-3 triumph over Ivy Leaf B in Division Four.  Ian Nash of West Midlands Fire was too hot for Streetly E in an emphatic 8-2 win, with debutant Janet Matthews also chipping in with two singles wins.  Northfield Conservatives gained a 7-3 majority over visitors Beaufort Sports D with Mark Wedderburn and Liam Driver both unbeaten and combining for a doubles victory.
