Young Will finding his feet in the big league

Will Michell scored an impressive maximum against Blades C defeating Michael Bridger,Colin Jones and Joelle Bennett,these victories not only moved him up to 50% in the averages but also beat Rory Scott to the Man of the match award.Charlie Graham Adams weighed in with two and Rory won three,8-1 to spinners. 

Two man Foresters C got a hiding from their D team with only Johnny Clarke winning against Gerry Pugh.ODS pushed Gerry all the way only going down 9 in the decider.8-1 to the D side.  

After ducking out of a tricky match last week against Blades A John Robinson put in an appearance versus Crawley Community B winning three precious points for the league stragglers including a never in doubt 12-14 10-12 17-15 11-7 15-13 win over Peter Burrows,our hero also defeated Shaun Parsley and Graham Green.Simon Knivett scored a great win against the exhausted Burrows.5-4 to Crawley Sports.

Phil Richardson has been complaining for weeks that he can never win a Man of the match award playing in a team of superstars however after a serious talking to from Carter he has now won it for the last two weeks.Despite Kate bribing the opposition with her birthday cake Foresters E went down 2-7 after leading 2-0,Kate had an excellent win over Carter 12-10 in the decider while James Wheatley won a hard fought encounter against Barrie Gilbert in five.Phil then came to the rescue beating Kate,James and Alice Hazell despite playing to her strongest wing for the entire match.This win consolidates third place for Community A. 

Foresters A minus Craig Bryant scored an impressive win over Horsham A with only Digger Barnes winning against Adam Todd,Dan Pound and Mark Collins won well over Graham,Andrew Sharland and Steve Hoad.

Maureens ambition to win the league by 50 points is still on track with a 7-2 win over Foresters B.Martin Gunn cemented his place as the leagues second best player with wins 31,32 and 33 of the campaign over Tony Steel,Mike Robinson and Tim Surrey.Josh Bennett won three while Tony and Tim had good wins against Ryszard Pelc.Blades are 12 points clear at the top.

Copthorne A picked up 3 useful points with Chris Pullinger defeating Erik Van Mol and Stuart Brooks and Gary Bristowe winning against Richard Hazell.Consolation for Richard was that he opened his account with a fine win against no luck.Copthorne have now slipped further back at the foot of the table 5 points adrift of safety.
