Alice in wonderland after big win against legend

16 year old Alice Hazell had a terrific three straight win over one of her heroes growing up Phil Richardson outslapping him in a fast and furious match.Robin Stace came in for Carter and played brilliantly rolling back the years to defeat Phil Nicholls,Alice and James Wheatley.Barrie Gilbert won three also including a rare victory over James.7-2 to Community A.

Community B specialise in close matches and tonights v Foresters E was no exception.Bonzos sneaky midnight practice sessions are paying off with another maximum including two five setters,one deuce in the fifth against John Callcut.Paul Newton 2 JC 2 and Graham Green 1 gave the Bs a5-4 win to lift them off the bottom of the table.

One pound that is definitely not obsolete is Steve with a swashbuckling display,two fine three straight wins over Graham Barnes and Andrew Sharland and a deuce in the fifth versus Chris Vincent however Horsham A pulled away from the pack at the wrong end of the table with a 5-4 win.

It was a fine effort from Simon Knivett coming straight from the beach to face up to Horsham Spinners,he beat youngster Ollie Michell in five and taking an end from Rory Scott.Marc Burman and Rory won three each both beating JR along the way,6-3 to second place Spinners.

Foresters A seem to have a different line up every week with Lewis Mayhew Man of the Match with three beating Blades C  7-2.

Great to see Martin Gunn back on duty for Blades B winning all three despite being taken the distance by Mike Robinson,struggling Richard Hazell had a great evening with a fine win over Mike Robinson and only going down 9 in the fifth against Rodders and Prakash,Top Catt won two to see Blades run out 6-3 winners.

10 year old Ollie Maric Murray was promoted to Blades A and promptly beat Tony Steel for the second time this season,Josh Bennett and George Hazell won three each however Barty pushed George all the way in five.
