In one of the best matches of the season that was a pleasure to umpire Paul Carter saved matchpoints in the fourth to prevail against Adam Laws 11-8 in the fifth.A very high standard of play throughout in a match that could have gone either way.Paul completed an impressive maximum with a tough five setter versus Marc Burman and a trouncing of Rory Scott.Barrie Gilbert defeated Rory in five but was hammered by Marc and Adam who are both brilliant against chop.Spinners won 5-4 to stay joint top.
