Criteria for Coach Funding

If you would like to develop your coaching skills and become a table tennis coach please contact John Cowell or Tony Chatwin. Some financial support will be available for anyone wishing to become a coach, or to bridge from a current ETTA qualification to a UKCC qualification before 2013 when the ETTA qualification becomes void. If any players are interested in obtaining their coaching qualifications please contact John or Tony without delay. If we could get enough players interested we may be able to persuade the ETTA to hold a course locally in Derby and District.

About Us

The Derby and District Table Tennis Association organises table tennis in the Derby area, which extends to 18 miles from the city centre. The league has 50 teams in 5 divisions playing competitively throughout the winter season. We also aim to actively promote table tennis, and coaching is available at several clubs (see coaching page) and at several schools in the Derby area.

If you are new to table tennis and want to have a go, or if you want to renew your playing career then one of these coaching sessions is a good place to start; otherwise contact one of the league officers for more information.
