Club News 060514

Exciting times for the Club with the move for some of the teams to a new venue to enable more access for the existing games venue.

With an entry of 5 teams in the Northumbria league and hopefully entering a team in the new Durham league there will be 6 teams playing from Sacriston this summer. Three teams Aces Chargers and Desperadoes from Freemans Quay on Fridays and Bombers, Comets and Sonics from our new venue on Tuesdays at Kimblesworth Community Centre, Front Street Nettlesworth DH2 3PE.

We are hoping to move the tables on Thursday night so that games can start next Tuesday with Comets v Matfen B.

Playing and session charges next year remain unchanged. However the membership fee has gone up to £10 for Seniors from £5 and remains the same for Juniors at £5, but this does allow members to receive training fees at a 50p reduction which is for members £2.50 seniors, £2 for Juniors.

There is an option whereby you can get a new club playing shirt included in your membership fee with the club logo and your name on for £25 Seniors £20 Juniors. See Peter for a sample. The accounts are also included to let you know how the club is coping financially.

We welcome Duncan Fraser who has volunteered to take over secretarial duties and wish him well in his role.
