Brandon Energy v Eagles

Sacriston were giving a debut to Toni and Guy Wong along with Jack Pugh while Energy were giving a debut to Paul Dunn who joined Patrick and Edward Nicholson. Patrick proved unbeatable on the night taking MVP. His toughest game was against Jack who took the first end before Patrick settled into his normal attacking style to take the next three. Jack won two but struggled with Edward before winning 3-2 coming back from 6-1 down in the final end to win it 11-7. Edward took 2 games as did Paul Dunn on his debut. Patrick and Edward combined to take the doubles giving Energy an 8-2 victory. Toni and Guy put up a good show in their first game putting in some good rallies and some good drive shots.

Comets v Brandon Anacondas

Anacondas are determined to get a promotion and turned out with a very team against Comets. The experienced Paul Dale was joined by up and coming youngsters Jamie Lupton and Simon Knopf against Nigel Coe, Colin Pritchard and Paul Salkeld. The youngsters proved unbeatable with only Nigel being able to take Simone to 5 ends and Nigel was again the only one winning beating Paul Dale for a solitary point in a 9-1 defeat.
